Bridgewater Bank’s May Maturity Madness Contest (the “Contest”)
This Contest is being held by Bridgewater Bank (“BwB”). The Contest begins 12:00 a.m. May 1, 2021 and closes at 11:59 p.m. on May 31, 2021 (the “Entry Period”). All times are in Mountain Daylight Time.
How to enter
No purchase is required to enter this Contest. The Contest is open to all Western Financial Group Deposit Brokers who represent clients with maturing GICs with Bridgewater Bank, and who are invited to be part of this Contest (each a “Contestant”).
It is important though that the Contestant be listed as the Deposit Broker on record for Bridgewater GICs maturing in May 2021.
Contestants receive one (1) entry into the Contest (each an “Entry”) for each Bridgewater Bank GIC they renew with BwB during the Entry Period. Eligible Bridgewater GICs for this Contest have a maturity date between May 1 and May 31, 2021. Bridgewater GICs which have been renewed prior to the Entry Period will not qualify as an Entry. There is no limit as to how many Entries a Contestant can submit to this Contest.
All Entries received have an equal chance of winning a prize in this Contest. No purchase is necessary to enter this Contest.
The prize
There are three (3) prizes to be won in this Contest (each a “Prize”). Each Prize is a gift card issued by Home Depot or Best buy valued at one thousand five hundred ($1,500.00 CDN) dollars. Each Prize winner can select which gift card.
Each Prize winner will be selected by random draw from all Entries properly entered into the Contest. The draw will happen at BwB’s head office in Calgary, Alberta at approximately 10:00am on June 10, 2021.
Before contacting the Prize winner, BwB will verify the eligibility of the selected Entry. In the event that the selected Prize winner or his or her Entry does not meet all conditions pertaining to these Contest rules, BwB will automatically disqualify that Entry and select another Entry to be the winner of that particular Prize.
BwB will contact the Prize winner by telephone, e-mail or other means. If for any reason it is not possible within a ten (10) day period to contact a Prize winner, despite customary diligent efforts, BwB reserves the right to disqualify that Entry and select another Entry by random draw as the Prize winner.
The prize must be accepted by the Prize winner and may not be transferred to any other person(s) prior to being awarded.
General Terms and Conditions
BwB reserves the right to withhold the Prize or disqualify the Prize winner’s Entry in the event that the Prize winner fails or refuses to comply with these Contest Rules.
If in the opinion and sole discretion of BwB the Contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond its control, BwB reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest including any method of entry.
BwB will not be responsible for telephone, fax, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed internet/email computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof that may result in an Entry not being properly entered into the Contest.
Any personal information that may be collected by BwB in this Contest will be in accordance with the BwB Privacy Policy, which can be found at http://www.bridgewaterbank.ca, and will be retained for the administration of this Contest and for marketing purposes. As per BwB’s privacy policy, BwB does not sell any personal information of its customers, partners or vendors.

By entering this Contest, Contestants consent to BwB publishing or announcing each Prize winner’s name, brokerage name and photograph(s) in future publicity in all manners including in advertising, trade publications, displays, editorials, art, video production, exhibitions, Facebook, Twitter and other website or online content.
By entering this Contest, participants automatically accept these Contest rules and release BwB, the Alberta Motor Association, and their respective employees, officers and directors from any liability with respect to this Contest or the Prize.
All decisions by BwB with respect to all aspects of this contest are final.
In these Contest rules, words importing the singular also include the plural.
This Contest and these Contest rules are to be interpreted and governed by the laws of Alberta.
