Bridgewater Bank is a Canadian Schedule I chartered bank with a portfolio of over $2.6 billion representing over 35,000 accounts across Canada. We specialize in competitive residential mortgages and deposit products through a select network of brokers. Bridgewater Bank GIC rates intend to make investing easy and profitable for our customers.

Established in 1997, Bridgewater Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Alberta Motor Association (AMA), the largest membership service organization in Alberta. We’re customer-focused, helping you succeed with honest, straightforward service and solutions to meet and exceed your needs.

Executive Profiles

  • Peter O'Neill, FICB, AMP – Chief Operating Officer

    With Bridgewater Bank since 2004, Peter O’Neill was part of the influential and successful team that obtained the bank’s Schedule I charter. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction and operations of the bank.

    Peter’s career includes more than 40 years of banking experience, with senior roles at RBC and ATB Financial. He has led over 800 employees within multi-disciplinary teams in urban and rural settings. He has significant expertise in the areas of strategic planning, human resources, retail banking, business banking, alternative distribution channels, customer contact centres, wealth management and dealer direct auto financing.

    He is actively involved in the local business community through Calgary Region Home Builders Association, Calgary Mortgage & Loans Association, Calgary Chamber of Commerce and the Registered Deposit Brokers Association of Canada.

    Peter is a Fellow (Honours) of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, holds the ICB Professional Bankers designation and is an Accredited Mortgage Professional through Mortgage Professionals Canada. Within the Canadian Banker’s Association, Peter is a member of the Executive Council and the National Housing Forum. Peter is also Co-Chair of the Domestic Bank Executive Committee.

  • Anthonet Maramieri, BA, MBA, PMP – Vice-President, Strategic Initiatives

    Anthonet Maramieri will play an integral role in developing key growth strategies, methodologies, and action plans to achieve business growth and profitability. She is responsible for sourcing innovative solutions, products and services at Bridgewater Bank. She leads the bank’s business intelligence functions as well as product, marketing and communications initiatives.

    With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, Anthonet has held senior leadership roles with the Alberta Insurance Council and Bank West (Western Financial Group). Anthonet’s focus is on driving efficiency, innovation and transformation through technology, strategic partnerships and talent to grow all the bank’s channels.

    Anthonet holds an Executive MBA from the University of Calgary, a BA from the University of Toronto and is a designated Project Management Professional.

  • Jason Provencher, BBA – Vice-President, National Sales

    Jason Provencher is responsible for sales delivery and relationship management of the Bank’s B2B channels.  This includes the development, management and execution of the Bank’s various B2B product and service portfolios including mortgages and deposits. Regulatory and compliance responsibilities include analysis of business and impacts to stakeholders.

    Jason has over 25 years of experience in financial services. Before joining Bridgewater Bank, Jason’s career began in retail banking at ATB Financial. Since joining the bank, Jason successfully applied his leadership skills by managing high volume funding operations and helped establish the broker-sourced model that has served the bank for more than two decades.

    He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Athabasca University. He is an elected Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association board member and has completed multiple programs through the Institute of Canadian Bankers.

  • Dave Terletski, AMP – Vice-President, Enterprise Risk

    Dave Terletski is responsible for Bridgewater Bank’s enterprise risk management with specific emphasis on risk governance, mortgage underwriting, regulatory compliance, corporate security, internal controls, legal recoveries and fraud mitigation.

    His banking career spans more than 40 years and includes senior management roles at RBC, Scotiabank and ATB Financial. During that time, Dave gained valuable industry expertise in risk management, commercial and retail lending, registered products, pensions, group RRSPs, investments and recoveries management.

    Dave is an accredited mortgage professional with the Canadian Association of Mortgage Professionals.  He has completed several professional development programs through the Institute of Canadian Bankers.

  • Scott Sanders, BAdmin – Vice-President, Service & Operations

    Scott Sanders is responsible for optimizing operational efficiency of Bridgewater Bank’s products and services. He is directly responsible for operational risk management, mortgage operations, deposit operations, information technology, customer service, direct sales and human resources.

    Scott has over 25 years of experience in customer service management, operations management and project implementation within the banking industry. His early career included a 17-year long stay at CIBC where he held roles at the branch, district and regional levels. Over his career, he has lead portfolios – at the executive level – including human resources, marketing, product and employee engagement.

    He holds a Bachelor of Administration from Lakehead University.

  • Robin Klein, BComm – Vice-President, Finance

    Robin Klein is responsible for the development and implementation of business strategies, managing the financial and regulatory reporting requirements, managing the liquidity requirements and the asset spread and interest rate risk policies for Bridgewater Bank.

    She has 18 years of experience in public accounting, audit and financial reporting. Prior to joining the bank in 2011, Robin held positions at the Investment Industry Organization of Canada, Global Captive Management and the Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan.

    Robin is a chartered accountant, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and is a member of the Saskatchewan and Alberta Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants.
